Jacquelyn, aka "Jackie," is an athletic trainer with over 15 years of sports medicine experience in Olympic Taekwondo.
Her taekwondo journey started as a student and athlete in 1999, eventually making two US national teams and competing globally before her refocus into the sports medicine field. She received her degree in athletic training from the University of Central Florida and continued her career working with combat and action/extreme sports. Currently, Jackie is the head athletic trainer for the ACE Taekwondo Program.
Her focus is in manual therapies; including cupping, dry needling, guasha, trigger point therapy and myofascial release. As an athletic trainer, she excels in emergency situations as well as quick, on mat evaluations and identification of concussions and head injuries.
She is also the owner of Lauricella Images, a photography company specializing in weddings, events, portraits and branding. Entrepreneurship allows her to travel internationally with Taekwondo and continue her passion of providing the highest quality of sports medicine coverage to the sport she loves the most.
